Meet Craig
Craig’s journey into working with nature began when renowned horticulturist Keith Kirsten recognised his talent and supported him through his studies at Cape Technikon.After graduating, Craig returned to work alongside Keith, managing one of his nurseries and immersing himself in the living world of plants. But his creative drive soon called him beyond the nursery gates.In 1996, Craig set out on his own.
What followed was a career spanning decades and an extraordinary range of landscapes — from intimate private gardens to large-scale commercial projects, nurseries, sports and leisure environments, and international destinations.Along the way, Craig developed a rare combination of skills: the ability to imagine something truly original, and the practical experience to bring complex ideas to life.
Today, that experience forms the foundation of Westwoods.For Craig, landscape is about more than putting plants in the ground.
It is about seeing possibility in a place.
